A Forest Fairytale

A few of you might remember the post I did on Mulberry's SS12 collection and their advertising campaign. It was the start of the pastel trend and featured large oversized colourful candy props on Brighton beach. It was amazing!

Anyway I don't usually talk about ad campaigns but their ideas and shots are so beautiful.

It's that time again, they have just released their AW/12 campaign and the results are especially enchanting. Gaining reference from 'Where The Wild Things Are', the stills see the beautiful model Lindsay Wixson surrounded with big, cute, fluffy monsters! *as you do*.

The whole image is whimsical, magical, and captivating, translating into their iconic bags!

Mulberry's ad campaigns always inspire me, and it seems there is no limit to their creativity and quirkiness. It's great to see something so fun and endearing in the highly strung fashion world!

What do you think of the campaign?

School Boy Error.

I've my friend Lexie staying with me at the moment which is very fun. I'm eating lots of chocolate, and we're taking lots of photos. Okaaaay.

I love this old Topshop floral dress. It's literally about two years old but it's so comfy and easy to wear. Bit of a lazy outfit today but 10/10 for comfort haha.

Tea dress - Topshop Shoes - Docs Socks - Topman Sweater - Vintage

I love this sweater so much, I wear it on my lazy days with the trusty docs!

Lazy Oaf!

First of all, we are in June. WHY IS IT RAINING? I had a nice little outfit post planned but no... Instead of that you have some cool info and pics of one of my favourite brands at the moment. Wait for it...
... LAZY OAF!

They are amazing and I want every single item of clothing on their website. *I love interning and having 0 pennies to my name, sighs* 1 day I will be in the position to be turning away clothes... Ok I definitely won't be turning away ANYTHING! Holllaaaaaa

I wouldn't usually talk about brands on here as it's very much boring and blah blah blah, but I honestly just wanted to share my love of Lazy Oaf with you all as I think you will all love it. (& no i'm not getting free clothes to sing their praises)

I picked a couple of my favourite items from their website here, check it out if you like what you see.

& just when you thought it couldn't get any better...they do homeware. I couldn't resist showing you some of their cute plates!

I don't know how many of you have heard of Lazy Oaf but I was first introduced to them when I saw them collaborating with Underground - another brand I adore! I instantly fell in love with these creepers and as soon as possible i'm definitely purchasing them! They are absolutely adorable.

I read on their blog recently that they are in the process of shooting a Batman collection. Seriously, can this brand get any cooler? I have a strong feeling they are going to be HUGE soon. Here are some of he photos I nabbed from their blog!

I can't wait till it's released & from this moment will be saving my pennies!

Talking of pennies, don't forget my ebBy clothing ends in around 1 day. You can check it out here and BID BID, I need Lazy Oaf clothing in and around my life!

What do you think of their stuff? Cool right

I knew you'd forgive me for doing a boring old brand post, but I just had to show you all my new found love!

Thank you again, all you who follow! :) :)

My week of Instagram!

I hope you all are well! I've decided i'm going to do a weekly feature of my life through instagram. I take so many photos of such odd things on my travels so thought I would share with you all once a week! What do you think? Yay or nayyyy?

In other news Lana Del Rey is rumoured to be bringing out a capsule collection for H&M. I mean I like Lana's music, but do we all need to dress as 50's housewives? An a line skirt with a chiffon blouse is fine, but  *yaaaawwwwnnnn*. H&M normally release quite edgy collections so I don't know what they're thinking with Lany Lan...

I looooove skeletons and skulls and anything morbid, this Urban Outfitter's print is perf for this dreary summer!

Addicted to benefit, little shopping spree!

My cutie bubba Misty baby

The Hunger Games! In the middle of reading the book at the moment, I've seen the film so I know what happens but I can't wait to start reading the other two. Love a good trilogy!

Waiting for my new JC's to arrive EEEEEEEEEEE.

Parrot printed leggings. Thanks £6!

Little visits to Camden after work.

Like her music, but try collaborating with Marks & Spencers..

Hope you are all having a funday Monday..

Can you think of any other features I could do on my blog you would like to read about? YAY or NAY t the instagram piczzzzz?

Beetlejuice Referee

First of all, I HATE FOOTBALL and can't think of anything worse than sitting on my sofa watching England play...sorry but no. BUT in honour of the sport so many of you love, I decided to whack on some beetlejuice. Nah really it was a coincidence... :\

But here it is...

Flatforms - River Island Spike bracelet - Topshop Shirt - Forever 21 Shorts - Car boot sale (levi's) Necklace - Vintage (my nan) Frilly socks - Primark

As you can see the pink fades so quickly from my hair! But i'm trying to get it as white as possible at the moment so I can dye it canary yellow! I'm nervous but ahhh YOLO. I've been every other colour so I might aswell try it! I get so bored with my hair colour so need change alllll the time.

I have actually gone off beetlejuice quite a lot but I still like this shirt. At one point I owned beetlejuice everything. I'm talking jeans, leggings, shirt, bralet, top, headscarf, yeaaaaaaah. The shirt remains strong.

Do you own anything beetlejuice? What do you think?

My June wants!

I've done absolutely nothing today, it's been heaven! I got up late, and slothed around my house the entire day. I did however collect a few things together and stuck them on ebay. They can be bidded on here  if you want to help put money into the pot of 'jess needs more clothes'.

Whilst saving for a new summery wardrobe I have put together a small collection of items I want this month.

1. I adore this pastel ombre treat. It's from Topshop and I can imagine it to be extremely flattering! It's 100% silk and I need it in my life. For such a cute item I don't think £60 is too bad! Can be purchased here.

2. I'm really fussy on floral prints but I love this chiffon blouse. Tucked into black disco pants with creepers it will look perfect in the not so summery summer! Can be purchased here for £40 (don't forget student discount!)

3. I've recently come across this website and i have instantly fallen in love with all their jewellery. I particularly love these black spiky earrings! Can be purchased here

4. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE collar tips. They instantly transform a boring old chiffon shirt into a new beauty and for just £10 from Topshop you can't go wrong! Can be purchased here

5. I love absolutely everything Unif, and have done for a long time. I just find they are slightly overpriced once you add on the shipping to the UK. BUT their innovative edgy designs are totally worth it. My other favourite unif vest is the 'Suck my Richard' Tee but this 'I Ball' vest is a close second and can be purchased here

6. Of course i'm sure you've all heard of Blackmilk and if you haven't you have got a treat ahead of you. Unfortunately these 'Cathedral leggings' have sold out but I am still determind to get my paws on them. Is there anything you waned from Black milk but they have now discontinued? It's soo annoying but I guess it increases the demand! :\ You can look at their website here and start dribbling over their beauties.

In other news I erm, sort of just spend £130 on these Jeffrey Campbells...

I'm sorry but I would of chopped an arm of for these beauts! I'm not looking forward to custom charges *covers face* Buuuuuut we'll forget about that for now. Roll on 2-4 weeks when they arrive! (Why so long America?)

What do you have your eye on at the moment? What JC's do you love at the moment? Solestruck sell waaaaaaay to many amazing designs for my liking. I need dollar.

I need dollar
I need dollar.

A third world war

It's at last the weekend yayyyy. I deserve a lie in after this week! I'm not really doing all that much apart from selling about 385729 items of clothing gathering dust under my bed! So bid bid bid I need new pretty clothes. The link to my ebay is on the right hand side of this page or you can click here. I will be adding stuff all day tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled. One of the things being sold is this army jacket below which I wore today actually! (I have two)

The army jacket is this season's must have item and I am definitely a huge fan. It is amazingly really versatile and can transform an outfit. I wore mine today with my cut out grey maxi. Without the dress it's just a boring jersey dress...but WITH the jacket it's a magical masterpiece. Ok so not quite but it definitely transforms the look and gives it a edgier feel. Today I wore the outfit with studded pumps and red hairscarf.

Dress - Miss Selfridge Pumps - Topshop Headscarf - Vintage Camo Jacket - Car boot sale

Oh woo i'm famous. Dr Martens took this photo of me at Lovebox festival and uploaded it to their Facebook so I stole it. I wore the outfit with my black docs at the weekend because of all the mud!!

Do you have an army jacket? BUY MINE haha. What would you pair it with? The opportunities are endless.
