The weather looks so miserable in these photos! It's super humid at around 32 degrees but overcast as it's rainy season here! In my opinion that definitely doesn't stop this time of year being any worse than on peak season. In the last 3 days it's only rained once (in the middle of the night) so hasn't been an issue for us. If anything it's probably better as it's far less crowded.

Today we travelled about 15km from Ubud to visit the Tegalalang rice terraces. There are only so many words I can use to describe the colour green ba ha but they were pretty amazing with coconut trees and views into the small valley. Wet rice agriculture is the most basic and important activity of Balinese life as rice is their major crop and staple food. Apparently the crop gets harvested 3 times a year so pretty crucial!

As a few of you may know, I've recently left the UK to do some travelling around Indonesia, The Philippines and then Australia. Obviously my blog is primarily fashion but I thought I would include a few posts on my travels as I encounter places I think could be interesting.

I arrived in Bali (Denpasar) just two days ago now. Our initial plan was to travel to Kuta but after a bit of research decided against it as I think it's just party central which i'm not really too keen on at the moment. So instead we headed to Ubud, just one hour from the airport. Pretty jet lagged we took a stroll round to explore and ended up in Monkey Forest. Hundreds of monkeys were jumping around after the bananas we bought. I much prefer going to places like this where the animals are in a  somewhat natural environment and free roaming as opposed to a zoo in which they are treated poorly.

Dress - Rat and Boa £38 ish // Flip flops - Havaianas £20 // Choker - made by me // Various bangles - All from India // Leather backpack - Bought from India £10

Would love to hear what you thought of this post and whether you would like to see more of my travels? Don't want to bore you to death ba ha...

I'm a little bit late but HAPPY VALENTINES to all you beautiful kitty catz, how amazing is this colour appropriate coat from [Warehouse!] I desperately needed to shoot this today but it was non stop rain all day - super annoying so I found a cute little church to take cover. It's great to get a bit of variety, I get bored of the same old backdrop and i'm no expert with photography but I like the different tone it's created.

This is the perfect winter coat, it's super duper warm as it's a wool mix and looks effortlessly chic. It fits perfectly on my tall frame too, creating a structured look. I wore it down today with casual ripped Topshop Joni's and scruffy Doc Martens but I can't wait to wear this as a transitional piece, dressing it up with a skirt and strappy heels as it starts to get a bit warmer. Warehouse are always so on point with their outerwear, my ultimate fav leather jacket is two year old Warehouse and looks just as great now - great investment piece.

Thanks so much for the beautiful coat Warehouse, happy v day!

Hey guys,

I hardly ever post about the events that I go to as I'm really fussy about the photographs I post on here and in my opinion iPhone photos just don't cut it, so excuse the bad quality of the first image eek. Slight OCD there I think.

A couple of nights ago I went to the Valentine's press day previewing their new SS15 collection. I regularly go to the Very events and they are always so much fun, the last one I went to had a huge walk in snow globe, super cool! I thought this would be pretty hard to beat but the guys at Very didn't disappoint as there were Labrador puppies in a little play pen to hold. SO CUTE. The collection featured a wide variety of styles but my favorites included bell sleeved dresses (very 70's which I am obsessed with at the moment), polka dot jumpsuits and silky lace lingerie.

Apart from the beautiful adorable cutesy puppies, there was a nail station for a quick new colour and also temporary tats which i'm a huge fan of - really want some of these for my travels! And of course a bar with my absolute favourite drink: Raspberry Mojitos - yummy! I always love going to events like this as I get to meet some of the great bloggers I talk to online.

AWW, aren't the puppies just the cutest thing you've ever seen! Thank you so much Very for my new pieces of clothing, can't wait to style them up!

Got some really exciting stuff coming up on the blog soon as I combine my fashion blogging with travelling round Bali, Phillipines and Aus, can't wait to show you all my adventures. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!

I love winter sun, especially as it makes my super winter inappropriate outfits look slightly more acceptable hehe. I fell in love with this digitally enhanced floral [Wolf and Whistle] number online and when seen in real life it didn't disappoint. If you're not familiar with Wolf and Whistle they're the sister brand of the ultra chic lingerie 'Playful Promises', cool huh? Anyway it's a full circle skirt so tonnes of flowing material and has a great feel. I find that I always see amazing items online and when they turn up at my door it's poorly made with bad stiff material that only the size 6 supermodels can make look good in the online lookbooks but fortunately that isn't the case with this!

I love midi skirts but don't really own many, mainly because I get a bit stuck on styling them up but this [Missguided] faux suede biker jacket is a great match, I feel like it's the perfect cropped length! The material gives it a bit of a bohemian vibe too, I'm off travelling again soon so will be taking this as the perfect night time cover up over all those patterned harems i'm going to be living in.

Midi skirt - c/o Wolf and Whistle // Biker jacket - c/o Missguided // Tassel crop top - £18 Topshop // Tassel boots - £110ish Allsaimts // Macrame choker - Handmade by me

How would you style up this skirt?

Heeeey Kitty Cats,

It's unlike me to go for something earthy and plain but i've been trying to change my style a bit recently, or at least try and make it a bit more versatile with classic staples. I absolutely love the shape of this khaki peach skin shirt dress from [Missguided] which can be worn both dressed up and down! I really wanted to let the dress do all the talking as it's one of my favourite pieces right now. Its shift style and curved hem make it quite unusual and I think a bit of a designer vibe. Buy [here] from Missguided.

I'm really into silver jewelry at the moment, I managed to pick up so many pieces from India which are so easy to throw on jazzing up this otherwise plain outfit. India are great at making intricate designed cuffs and bangles and I can't get enough of them!

Suede shirt dress - c/o Missguided // Leather rucksack - £10 from India // Boots - £110ish from Allsaints // Lipgloss - Birthday Suit  by Sleek // Bangles - Various prices all from India

You might notice my make up looks a bit different today...I've always worn really bright oranges and reds on my lips but thought I would try a more subtle nude colour this season. Apart from that, bright lipsticks are such high maintenance! I originally bought Velvet Teddy by Mac after reading so many great reviews but I was really disappointed. It just didn't suit my skin tone, i'm not sure who I looked like but it sure wasn't Kylie Jenner. Anyway I ended up hunting down Sleek's Birthday Suit matte lipgloss and I love it. It's far more wearable in my opinion and serves as a great alternative to Velvet Teddy especially for you pale gals. Also it's only around £5 so a third of the price of Mac! Looks great with lip liner too...

What do you think of this look?

Having the thinnest hair known to man, I’m always keen to try out any product that claims to provide me with any added thickness. I’ve tried out dozens of products but I am yet to have found anything that actually works particularly well. I’m really not expecting to wash my hair, blow dry it, and look in the mirror and look like Cheryl Cole (although that would be quite nice) but a very slight difference in feel/look would be quite beneficial to my current hair state. From two years of dying my hair every pastel colour I could think of, you could say my hair isn't in the best of conditions!

I was recently sent an extreme volume shampoo, extreme volume conditioner and extreme volume root lifter to try out on my hair, and trust me my hair really is the ultimate test! Boutique brand [Osmois a leading UK hair care brand that boast a diverse and extensive product range. I've used these products on two washes now and have already noticed the results. My hair feels a little thicker, and it's easier to create volume when backcombing. It feels like there is a natural product build up in my hair which fortunately creates the illusion of it looking and feeling thicker. The shampoo/conditioner smell really good and apply well, I noticed you don't actually have to use as much as normal as it lathers up well which is great as the bottles will last longer! My hair was really easy to brush after using both the shampoo and conditioner which is great as most shampoos make my hair knotty and hard to comb through.
Overall my hair is a little less flat, and feels slightly thicker and healthier on the whole. I would definitely buy these products again and recommend anyone wanting any extra volume in their hair to give these a try. Read more on Osmo's website:
Has anyone else tried any thickening products? Would love to hear your thoughts! Massive thank you to Osmo for sending me these products to trial.
